The Altitude watch collection, however, is geared towards flight and military grade endurance. The series has been recently revamped with a re engineered Trip Tick case, made from hardened stainless steel and with the distinctive sandwich profile that reveals a central barrel. This Bremont Altitude Meteor MB watch reference ALT42-MT-TI-SIBK-N-S takes the same format and has been inspired by Britain’s very first jet fighter, and the aircraft used for Martin Baker’s original live ejection test in 1946. It features a silvery grey dial with stencilled Arabic numerals, luminous treated central hour and minute hands and a date window at 3 o’clock, decorated with a trim that nods to the black and white striped loop handles of the MB ejection seat.
