Oris are partnering up with the Movember Foundation for the second year running to help change the face of menās health and prevent men dying too young. For 2018, Oris are using their famous Big Crown model for inspiration and have tailored it beautifully with small but gorgeous details like two moustaches embossed on the vintage brown strap and an all new matte black dial with gold plated hands and markings.
The Oris Movember 2018 watch takes after one of the larger Big Crown models measuring to 40mm in diameter and comes fitted with the signature coin edged bezel inspired by jet engine turbines. The matte black dial is beautifully decorated with gold plated markings and is kept hidden beneath domed sapphire crystal glass which has been coated in anti-reflective treatment on the inside for effortless legibility. The 50 metre water resistant case is kept closed at the back and is detailed with a special edition decoration of a vintage-looking Oris logo in the centre and an inscription of āOris Movember Editionā and a matching moustache along the edge. Hidden within the centre of the Oris Big Crown Movember 2018 watch is the Oris 754 movement which equips the striking black dial with gorgeous rose gold hour and minute hands painted in Superluminova coating, a sleek rose gold seconds hand and a handy red-tipped pointer date function.
