The watch shape takes its cues from the original Seiko āAlpinist,ā first launched in 1959 for Japanese āYama-otokoā mountain men, to be reliable in treacherous terrain.
The limited edition ,within the Prospex Land collection, is designed for practicality. It's powered by the Seiko in-house Automatic 6R movement with highly visible lumibrite on the dial and hands ā easy to see in any light - with a power reserve of 70 hours and Sapphire crystal with magnified glass.
Prospex is a combination of the words 'Professional' and 'Specifications.'
